There are several types of window tint available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages when tinting your vehicle in Arizona .

Ceramic tint is one of the most popular, as it provides excellent protection from the sun’s rays without compromising visibility. This helps reduce heat during shorter duration's like in a grocery store or grabbing a quick meal.

Ceramic Tint also blocks out UV and infrared rays, making it great for protecting the interior of the car. Ceramic tint can come in any VLT shade and has no effect on color. Meaning you can have clear ceramic tint if you choose.

A Tint's VLT (visible light transmission) refers to the different shades, ranging from 70% to 5%, with 35%, 15% and 5% (limo Tint) being the most commonly applied. The higher the VLT, the more light is allowed to pass through the tint.

Finally, it is important to note the state's legal limit is 33% VLT on the two front side windows and only allows for shading on the top 4 inches of the windshield

If you are going with Ceramic tint, its highly advised to do all of the vehicle's glass, including the windshield and moon/sunroof. This ensures that you have full protection instead of leaving the biggest window open to harmful rays and faster heat transfer

In accordance with state laws, Its common for the following VLT selections to be installed. 35% for the front two windows, 5% for the rear passenger windows and 15% for the rear windshield. 5% and 15% look the same to the eye from the outside but allow the driver to see out the rear of the vehicle while providing maximum protection in the back.
